If you want to hear Lord of the Rings listen to the BBC radio version.This has to be the worse reading possible. Rob Inglis does some of the most terrible voices I have heardin a book reading & manages to kill some of the best written prose about.It does not improve over the rest of the series.If you want to hear it borrow it from the library but do not buy it.

Never has a book been so full of joy friendship, sorrow,loyalty,courage,glowing with the absolute pleasure of nature,so much so you are there,breathing & living every moment an excellent book written by a remarkable person, thank you.
