The Georgia Nicolson books are honestly the best books ever written! She faces problems which are commonin teenagers & they are really funny. Love these books! (:
Angus, thongs and hilariousity. YAY! - By: , 21 Oct 2008
This is so funny & amazing fabbity fab fab fab. I didn't know whether I would like it or not but decided to try reading it as it had some great reviews , like this one! I'm twelve & I don't think it goes into too much detail about anything rude. In fact it's not really like the name. her cat's called Angus(scottish) & her enemy wears thongs & her & her loon friends invent a snogging scale.Except it only goes into detail about the first thing. It touches real life issues & is a must have read for any girl aged 10+!!! It's fabbity fab. It rocks my socks.P.S. I read it when I was 10 nearly 11 & I'm normal well at least I think. I touches romance & is great read for anyone foing on holiday.
hilarious - By: Mrs. K. A. Wheatley, 17 Oct 2008
I bought the first bookin this series (Angus, Thongs etc) to see if it was suitable for my daughter to read. I devoured itin a sitting & unashamedly went out & bought this one to read for my own pleasure.
These are juvenile & totally about what it means to be a self-obsessed teenage girl, but they are well written & very, very funnyin places & are such a breath of fresh air. Even though they are aimed at modern teenagers, not much has changed really. It took me back to my own days of agonising over boys & ridiculous fads & stupid trends & bought tears of laughter & recognition. I loved it, & am off to buy the next one.
fabbity fab book with knobs on! - By: Vicky Sparrow, 13 Aug 2008
Recently I went to see "Angus, Thongs & Perfect Snogging"in the cinema, but I hate seeing films I haven't read the book of. I had seen the trailer & thought it looked absolutly awesome! I quickly ordered the book from Amazon, & could not put it down! Honestly, I picked it up at 4 & did not stop reading until 8!! It is one of the best booksin the world, & can only be out donein humour by the legend of Bridget Jones. It is fabulous book about very realistic problems faced by your average teenager, yet it isn't whingy or boring or moany, just hilarious & honest!! It doesn't blow anything out of proportions, like so much chick-lit does. Basically it is just fabulous!!
Oh dear... - By: V. Flack, 04 Aug 2008
I rented this book out the library a little while ago, because my friends read the series, & were saying how good & funny they are.
Well, I must not have a sense of humour, because, although the book made me smile once or twice, when you boil it down, it's just a stupid girl with stupid friends... whinging. Ugh... the movie looks terrible too.
