I liked this book because it wasnt the normal boy-meets-girl type book. Its easy to read & v. memorable. It deals with her useless dad, her caring for her younger sister, her brothers death & her mums depression.
the only problem was i wish there was more at the end or at least a sequel. I wanted to hear more about Harper :)

I bought this book on a bit of a whim because the cover caught my attention, & I'm glad i did. It tells the story of Rowan, & how her family is coping (or not) with the loss of her brother. It shows the strain on relationships, new friendships formed & the hole someone leaves behind.

Jenny Velentine's skillin writing has created an intriguing & compelling novel, which had me laughing & crying all the way through.
