Compelling read - By: S. D. Williams, 02 Aug 2008
I couldn't put this book down. Even though it was such a sad story of abuse, I couldn't stop reading. This is definately worth a read.
A must read - By: A. Lawrence, 30 Aug 2007
This sequel to Toni's best selling "Don't tell Mummy" is a must for all of us who read the brave & heartwrending story of her childhood. Toni handles delicate subject matter yet again with courage & bravery. This book is beautifully written with a mixture of poigancy & sadness that is lightened by her sense of humour & strength. Another book I could not put down & a testament to her strength of will that has made her the successful woman she has become today. I hope Toni continues to write & look forward to her next book.
What a wonderful sequel... - By: Aw Van Heerden, 13 Aug 2007
The writer has an amazing ability to tell a story that is a startling example of fact being more horrific than fiction. The bleak scenes of the mental hospital are masterly interwoven with humour, & heart-wrenching human drama.I can really recommend this book, although it's not for the faint hearted.
