Where Rainbows End - Unique! - By: M. Padwick, 22 Oct 2008
It took me a little while to get use to the format of this book. It's written through emails, letters & instand messages. It turned out to be a fantastic read, couldn't put it down. To be honest, it's not as good as PS, I Love You but still worth reading!
Where Rainbows end - By: L. Murphy, 20 Oct 2008
childhood friends Rosie & Alex whose relationship must survive many trials & tribulations, not least the discovery of their true feelings for one another. From naughty children to rebellious teenagers & mixed-up twenty- & thirty-somethings, Rosie & Alex have stuck by each other through thick & thin, even when Alex moved across the Atlantic to Boston & Rosie fell pregnant as a teenager. Alex supportsRosie through one of the most difficult times of her life -- a time when she should be out partying & going to university but is instead changing nappies & coping with a screaming baby. In return, Rosie is there for Alex when he strugglesthrough his medical internship & copes with a messy divorce. Throughout the ups & downs of each other's lives, they have remained a constant, a shoulder to cry on, someone to laugh & share their innermost feelings with. But can their friendship survive the years & the miles and, more critically, when they each marry someone else? Were they meant to be more than just good friends all along? Misunderstandings, circumstances & sheer bad luck
I really liked this book! will definately read more of Aherns work.

Dreams Deferred - By: Graceann Macleod, 12 Oct 2008
In this excellent, epistolary novel, Alex & Rosie are kept apart by circumstances both within & without their control. The only reason I'm giving this book four stars rather than five is that one of the "reasons" keeping them apart was clearly a plot contrivance meant to add another 100 pages to the book, when it was an easily solvable "problem"in real life.
My favorite characterin the whole story was the solid, reliable, no-nonsense Ruby, who calls it as she sees it & is correct from the get-goin that Alex & Rosie are mad for each other & just have to face that for themselves.
A friend of mine said a couple years ago that "love leads us down strange pathways." This immensely entertaining novel is an apt demonstration of that belief.
