I am a mother of two adult children & have been a stepmother of adolescent children for two years now. They live with their mother but see us regularly. This book is setin 5 parts with 28 chapters with a useful glossary. In typical "complete idiot's guide fashion" it breaks subjects down into bite-sized chunks with lots of graphics & tips. It is about stepparenting & not just stepmom info. I plan to give it as a wedding gift to anyone who is marrying into a stepparent situation because when the honeymoon is over post-vow nastiness can send the new stepparent into a tailspin. No new marriage needs that.
