The ending was very surprising, & I didn't know what would happen next. I recommend this book to any young adult.

Well there were some good points...but it was boring & very poorly written. I DO NOT recommend this. I am so dissapointed.

This book shows me how culturalconflict can influence people. I grew upin Chinese culture, so when I know someone is an American-born-Chinese, I'd like to make friends with him or her & exchange out thoughts. This book provides such a point of view to me. I think if you like the film-"Good Will Hunting," then you'll like the book-"Child of the Owl,"too.
Every Page Worth Reading - By: , 01 Jan 1999
I am a studentin high school. I found, "Child of the Owl"in the children session on the library. It is really hard for me to find a book where I could find out about my own culture. This was a great book to do just that & more. I never heard about the owl charm or the story until now. I would recommend this book to young readers since it is very easy to understand. Its powerful words bring images to my head. This book should be made into a movie.

Since I am Chinese-American I could relate to this book very well. This is well written & dramatic. It made me cry when I was smiling. -Lauren Young
