I was looking forward to getting this book as I was desperate for some new imput & inspiration on how to live with my thyroid condition (I've been at both ends of the spectrum of thyroid problems). The book is just a rehash of the information available on Mary Shomon's website. I couldn't find anything new. My own experience has led me to believe that keeping things simple is the best way to treat an underactive thyroid. A healthy, balanced diet & regular exersize is the best way to ensure thyroxine uptake & therefore ensure a more balanced thyroid.
