Sometimes I get confused - By: Han of Dan, 12 Sep 2006
Having read both Rim & Mirin quick succession I get confused as to which is worse. The one with the lack of story structure, plot, or characters? Or the other one, which is pretty much exactly the same. There are ideas here sure, I cannot fault Besher for coming up with some innovative concepts for how the future might look. Thisin itself is not enough. There needs to be a decent readable story too.
Oh dear... - By: Jemmy Bloocher, 04 Dec 2003
I have never felt the urge to review anything before. I would not wish this book on my worst enemy. It is incredibly badly written, already dated, & boring to the extreme. Without doubt the worst book I have ever read.
Excellent if you like that sort of thing - By: , 05 Jun 2000
A very helpful title but... If you like the world Alexander Besher lives in, this is a great book, he intertwines Gibson cyberspace with Eastern mysticism & the results are surprisingly successful. A rare treatin that opposite ends of the evolutionary spectrum - the hippies & the geeks - can enjoy it & regard it as their own, private treasure.
An entertaining read - By: , 29 Dec 1999
A good read - a bit confusedin places though. For fans of virtual reality this book has some great ideas. Found it hard to put downin the end.
