The only book I've ever worn out with use - By: Gareth Greenwood, 07 Jul 2008
I'm now on my second copy, having used the first so much that it fell apart. It's not as detailed or as comprehensive as the Handbook of Mathematical Functions by Abramowitz & Stegun (A&S) & its statistical tables are also somewhat limited. That aside, however, it is excellent value at the price & unless you are doing serious numerical computation or advanced statistical work, this handbook may be all you'll ever need.
Superb - By: , 04 May 2002
The tables of common integrals & derivatives make life wonderfully easy! Not advocating cheating on homework, but if you ever get stuck... Lots of other useful stuff too. Probably best suited to the college/university maths student though, there's a lot of stuff mere mortals will never use!
Does exactly what it says on the cover - By: , 09 Jan 2002
Great reference, it is exactly what it says - a handbook of formulas & tables. Just don't expect it to tell you how to use them! Good price to!

I can't begin to count the number of times I have been able to go to this book & find what I was looking for. I have already worn one copy out & now have to purchase a replacement.
