As a student of mechanical engineering, this was one of the recommended texts for the module l was undertaking.

Firstly, one good point is that it was recommended by a lecturer. I found it very useful for the context of my problems & gave an easy approach to the learning of the material. I have also some other of this authors books & they have greatly helped over the years.
