This is such a great book to get male teenagers interestedin reading. To read this story, Thomas Cochran puts you into young Travis Cody's mind & feelings as he tracks his final day of high school football. I didn't put this book down until I finished. The story talks about football but deep inside the message of "I Can Achieve" & "Just Do It" come outin this tale of a young boy entering a mans world. Parents please give this book to your son.

This is one of those "one dayin the life of" books. Gives you insight into the life of sports stars & their fans. I am neither. However, just the fact that I could make it through this book without getting bored & frustrated means a lot ! Knowledge about football is helpful, but not essential. I just sort of glossed over those parts about the plays. Lots of "football as a metaphor for life", & that sort of thing. Worth a look.
