my little boy is 4 & a half & LOVES this book - i would recommend it to any young children
it is a great introduction to poetry as opposed to nursury rhymes

I'm 7 years old, & this poetry book is very easy to read. There are funny poems, scary poems, silly poems & ones which make you think. I like picking this book up & reading it every now & then.
My favourite poemin here is Circus Elephant because it's quite sad. The elephant used to livein the jungle & has been taken to a circus. He really misses the jungle & wants to go home. This poem also gives you ideas as to what a jungle is really like.
