Not much has changed - By: Duncan Campbell, 30 Apr 2007
I was a bit disappointed as I only bought the second editionin 2005, but when I went out & updated it, there wasin fact not that much change at all to the vast majority of the text! Sure, the new 2005 CPR guidelines are there (I guess this & the name change dropping `Accident' were the reasons to `rush out' a new edition so quickly), but most of the text is the same. And I'm still tired of straining to read it!
Still one of the best - By: Doctor of EM, 04 Apr 2007
The Oxford series continues to impress time after time. This 3rd edition has many updates & retains the excellent layout this publisher is famous for. It is a must have for all those interestedin trainingin Emeregency Medicine.
Highly recommended!
Same Old Same Old - By: Chopperboy, 03 Nov 2006
Once again the Oxford series have attempted to squeeze the entire knowledge base for emergency medicine into an exceedingly small space. Granted there are thousands of facts crammed into this tome, but the micrographic text & easily ripped paper will leave this book securely on the shelf
