Sharaf was a pupil/patient of Reichs & has first hand knowledge of the subject. He writes with sympathy but always uses a perceptive & critical intelligence.
If even one tenth of Reichs ideas are correct he is essential to our future - this is one of the best two books on Reichs life ...(the other is David Boadella`s). Read this if you know something about Reich & also if you dont !

Even if you have no interestin Wilhelm Reich this is one of the most compelling books ever written about a human being. There is a deep tragedy throughout Reichs life, battling experimental results which point to extraordinary conclusions, fierce personal relationships which dissolve the usual barrier between private & professional. After reading this book you will be astonished that he is not better known. I cannot reccommended this book highly enough.
