This book is undoubtedly the best read ever & I'm not exaggerating! I read quite a lot but this book exceeded all my expectations & although it is fiction, it is alwaysin the back of your mind that the story told could've come true to some family on that fateful day. I'm quite surprised that the synopsis on this website is so detailed as it gives away the best parts of the book but I thankfully didn't read it when ordering!
This book is full of emotion that really opens your eyes to the events of 9/11 & how many families must've been affected. I livein the UK but have researched quite a lot about the World Trade Center attacks but not once have I come across something written that actually puts you therein New York & feeling the whole range of emotions felt that day. I could go on forever about this book but there are no words - you hvae to read it for yourself & theres no doubtin my mind you'll love it like I did!! ENJOY :-)
Another `Can't Put Down' Book - By: , 09 Oct 2003 I really didn't think that Karen could top `A Moment of Weakness', but she did. This is another book I guarantee you will not put down. I'm from England, so I could only watch on TV on September 11th, I could experience/feel the horror, but yet it still seemed far away, but from Karen's story telling, it was so well written, that I felt like I was there! An amazing storyline & the characters are believeable & you will certainly identify with any of them. This is a great book, be prepared to be touched. Get your copy now!!
