My 1 star evaluation has nothing to do with the product which I'm sure is great - it's because this item needs to be changed!
I bought 1 (ISBN 0551026553) which says it is a hardbackin it's Amazon title, but it came as a PAPERBACK! I checked the ISBN & found it matches, so the title is wrong!
I then found the hardback edition (ISBN 0310379504) which displayed a photo of the hardback edition & was specifically listed on seller's page as hardback as well... (it was temporarily unavailable from Amazon themselves) & it too has just arrived & is PAPERBACK! My friend specifically wants the hardback as a gift, & on 2 increasingly checked occasions I was sent the paperbacks instead.
But it gets more complicated than that!... Now I have made this comment I notice it appears on BOTH ISBNs & I can therefore not entirely blame the sellers, but Amazon for joining products & descibing titles which are WRONG: Paperback ISBN described as hardback; hardback ISBN brings same reviews & marketplace sellers as paperback!
Thanks to this I have purchased 2 paperbacks (which I'm sure I can give away & happily endorse it's content) but am still looking for a hardback - how can I know which is which? & how much more money is it going to cost me to find out?

- DON'T TRUST the photos
- DON'T EVEN TRUST the ISBNs

I agree with the other comments on 'Diamondsin the Dust'. It's so uplifting & by far one of the best devotional books I've ever read.
Absolutely fabulous - By: , 23 Jan 2006 I'd heard about Joni a number of years ago & had heard her sing too. She is a remarkable woman & this daily devotional is trully as remarkable as she is.
Not only with the usual bible quotations but with Joni's own wonderful insights & words of wisdom & comfort. I find reading it each day a blessing. so much so i've had to buy another for my father who's a recently became a Joni fan after reading her biography, which id recommend too.
