I recently purchased the NIrV Kid's Quest Study Bible for my 7 year old who just compleated first grade. My child & I are very pleased with it. The NIrV is based on the NIV version of the Bible but has been rewritten on a third grade reading level making it perfect for a new reader. The NIrV Kid's Quest Bible also has 500 questions & answers to many of the questions that kids ask. Examples are questions like , "Is it o.k. to hit my brother back if he hit me first?" & "Why do we pray?" The answers are Biblically based & references to scripture are given with each Q&A. The Q&A's help to show children how to apply God's Wordin their lives.
