Oi vey! My accountant is Jewish & come to think of it, so's my Solicitor & my wife & kids. Do I feel left out? You bet I feel left out. I mean the bean counter is a mensch but like a Goy at the shul, I always felt as though I wasn't getting the joke - not anymore! And don't use a tallis to mop up the coffee.

Seriously, the yiddish culture is so deep & apart of every other culture that you can't help but notice it. To see it put acrossin such a funny way by a real comedian is a joy. It's not a novel nor is it factually correct but it is as kosher as Christmas cake & it goes a long way to showing an outsider like me what it's all about. You know where I keep it? By the loo! It's the kind of book that keeps youin there for hours.

Now I know that my old friends were schnorrers & that my wife is indeed "a healthy girl" - you want to know more? Nu?

A good read for anybody who wants to find the funny side of this religion or who just wants a laugh.
