I bought this book as it came upin the recommended list on Amazon. However, as it's mainly about an American ER department & they tend to exaggerate things, I didn't enjoy this book as much as I'd hoped I would.

After reading every book of ER, paramedic, & nursing stories, I'd have to say that this is the second-best book ever written on this subject. "Believe It or Not! True Emergency Room Stories" by Kevin Pezzi, M.D. is definitely #1, & the other books just aren'tin the same league.

Parents Beware---Although this book was a blast to read, it isfor ADULTS ONLY!!! The contentin this book constantly discusses cases of sexuality using words related to reproduction such as sex & oral sex & to the reproductive organs such as penis & vagina. It is my firm belief that the author was wrongin entering this kind of languange into this piece of literature.Thank you. END

Makes you laugh ...makes you cry...full of shocking true stories. Better than the TV show "ER". A great book to keep by the john. Don't miss this one!
