Five years of a cruel & wickedly funny insite into American politics, small town America & the loneliness of being a svelt, buoyant waterfowlin the 21st century!
You'll laugh, you'll cry: you'll find yourself going Ack! for no apparant reason.
This was possibly the funniest cartoon series ever written. And the amazing thing is it has depth. You can laugh at the imagery but you can gain a lot more by reading between the lines & understanding the sub-text.
Berk Breathed is a genius & there was definitely a tearin the eye when it was time to say goodbye to Bill & Opus.

A truely superb book which deals with teenage innocence, Reganomics through to Watergate (Girdlegatein this case). I think Breathed has evolved into one of the great 'Strippers' of his time & his strips are sorely missed... at least you'll have this to cuddle up to on a cold night.
