Buzan has written several books like this. This is the one for students. It is cheap, it covers the key skills students need: listening, note taking, reading, creativity & memory.
This book not only helped me get my Ph.D, it made doing it possiblein the first place by helping me to massively transforming my marks & my B.Sc gradein my 3rd year at University. I lent it to a friend & he improved his degree by a grade also.
Can't recommend this book enough. The cliche "transformed my life" exists for a reason, its possible & its true.

Along with Buzan's other offerings, "Make the most of your mind" is an essential addition to anyone's bookshelf who enjoys the rewards of self improvement.
A challenging read, that forces the reader to examine his fundamental perception of his own mind. Most important though, I loved every minute of reading this book!
I have recommended it to several of my friends & family members already!!

I came across Tony Buzan's workin 1990, when I had just started studying for a degree whilst working full time. It was not until I read this book that I actually learnt how to learn quicker, more efficiently & be able to access that knowledge easier.
Throughout this book you are given examples, explanations & tests that you can use to prove to yourself within minutes that what you have just been told works. In fact, not only are you told at the start how incredible your brain is & how much you already know, but this book then helps you proves it !!
Each chapter could be a bookin its own right, however the aim of this book, quite rightly, is to give you 80% of the benefit for 20% of the effort.
