Excellent book - By: John Robinson, 29 Dec 2008
Hi this is a most excellent book. From picking it up I read it right through, as it chronicles Jackies life from a little nipper with his parentsin the Hong Kong mansion, to being taken away to the circus training school & all the antics he got up to there. From fights to rigerous & demanding kungfu training, & even getting a girlfriend, this book has it all.
A must-read.

This is a really well written and, what seems to be a very honest story. You can really understand why he became as tough as he did, its a real eye opener.

Jackie Chan has had a fascinating life. This book details his childhood growing upin Hong Kong, first living with his parents who were servants for the French ambassador, then living at the mercy of Master Yu at the Chinese Opera Academy.
The book goes on to detail his life as a stunt man & then the international star that he is.
This book is really easy to read, it is full of humour & honesty. Jackie Chan is one of the all time greats. Give this book a read.
A must for all Jackie Chan fans! - By: , 28 Apr 2005
This book explores the amazing life of the biggest martial arts movie star of all time. It takes us from the time when he was a young child living with his parents who were servants to an ambassadorin China, to the successful movie star he is now. His life is fascinating to read about: the torture he had to bear at his martial arts school, the hard life of trying to make great movies, the amazing stunts he's had to do... 'I am Jackie Chan' really makes all Jackie Chan fans appreciate the face behind all the fame, fortune, & fantastic stunts.
