almost there... - By: Ms. A. Kennedy, 02 Apr 2008
plese don't read this review, if you haven't read the book as i don't want to spoil the plot for anyone! however, i have to say that this book (and the previous 2 for that matter) aren't as good as the first 6in my opinion. where the book ends, i found myself being disappointed that all was not 'happily ever after.' In all honesty though, it just didn't end how i wanted it too/thought it should have, but then again, there's always book 10!
the series is back: better - By: M., Nadine, 29 Feb 2008
The last volumesin the series were not very interesting: Mia's whining style & self-made tiny problems definitely failed to catch my attention. But this book is different & Mag Cabot is back at her best! After loosing Michael to Japan, Mia falls into deep depression & onlyin steps recovers her world. The break needs her to newly adjustin her surroundings & with her friends & foes, & many people are not what they have appeared to be. A time of changes & growing up begins - crowned by the ultimate example taht 16-year-olds can make a changein the world (not only writing about it, as the books before did)!
A wonderful book to give you self-assurance yourself while following Mia's development! Live does not rule you, but you can rule the world!
