I brought this book after looking at the other reviews & I have to say I'm disappointed, maybe it's just my baby but she is notin the slightest bit interestedin this book, she is now 5 months old, & is happier when I sit her on my knee with her sister & read her story books (she's 2) she gets far more excited so I think it's just this book that is not holding her attention.

My 8 month old son loves this & many times we have managed to stop him crying by showing him this book. For some reason he finds the pink pig extremely amusing!
Great book for your little one - By: , 04 Apr 2005 This is my second book of this style that I have bought for my son. It is a stonge & sturdy book what have many pages of colourful animals. All the animals have soft, smooth or fluffy center for your child to touch.
There is also wordsin the book.
This book is easy to attach to your buggy & is very usable.

Their crinkly pages provide both tactile & auditory stimulation. The pictures comprise simple, fun pictures & geometric patterns, all printedin black & white with a contrasting colour. This simple yet marked contrast (although seemingly boring to adults) is what fascinates newborns & young babies. Further visual stimulation is provided by the addition of a mirror on the front cover - all babies love to stare at faces! These books also have a vecro tagin place so they can be easily fastened to the buggy, car seat, cot etc. These books really are the ideal first books for babies, & would make a great birth gift. My newborn twins are enthralled!

My son loves it & as it comes with a handy plastic cord you can attach it to the car seat making sure you always have something with you to entertain you little one. The different textures within the book encorage your child to turn the pages & feel his way through the story. To finish it the pictures are nice & bright & the story is simple yet my son finds it very entertaining.
If you have baby buy this book & attach it to their car seat. You will have a wonderful toy for your child to play with & you will never leave home without a toy again.
