I felt I learnt quite a lot of Indonesian & I enjoyed reading all the cultural information that the authors included. The dialogues were very helpful & actually relevant, which makes a nice surprise. I think it helps that Indonesian isn't a particularly difficult language, but even so I found this book very useful indeed. The content is suitable for anyone (novices to linguists) because it covers the right amount of vocabulary. So if you're going to Indonesia then you must by this book- don't just expect everyone to speak English!Teach Yourself Indonesian- By: Kemas Fachruddin, 04 Nov 2003 The books wrote by Christoper Byrnes & Eva Nyimas is very good book. The book also described the culture & equipped by pictures. Every chapter also equipped by picture of topic being explained how Indonesian poeple behave. This book is very helpfull for the foreigners who will learn more about Indonesian language. It is not like other book, Christ & Eva tried to explain the culture as well.
