This book is great for planning & observations it helps link these together & is great for all early years settings. I am a childminder & found it a very useful tool to support the new EYFS.

This book gives a clear explanation of the EYFS & what is expected from practitioners. It goes through the principles & what the implications are for a setting. It has lots of examples of different types of observations from many settings & how the EYFS can be managedin different settings. I liked the examples of a parents' questionaire & questions to elicit reflective answers from children.
