and just re-read it, & it's still just as good today. An excellent book, much better than some of the dramatic drug "shocker" books out today for young adults.

This story broke my heart & made me realize the problems Amrica is facing today. To hear about the life of a 13 year old who is addicted to heroine & has done many other drugs frightened me tremendously.
