If a book calls itself colloquial it shouldin fact deal with colloquial Hindi. This is a basic primer & not a brilliant one at that. The write up that says it will help with Bollywood is also off the mark, having watched Zee TV & a variety of Bollywood films over Easter it has not helpedin the least.

This book ...is excellent for both complete beginners & also those who simply wish to brush up on their Hindi. It is very thorough, yet surprisingly easy to understand... Allin all, an excellent all-round introduction to Hindi. Buy now, & Bollywood films will become a whole lot clearer!!
