Everything you would need to know about the early Roman Empire. Organised thematically & chronologically. Makes for a good overview & is a clear & concise read.

I am So glad I read this book. I study Roman History (Under prof. Alston). when he first mentioned buying his book we all thought it was a bit of a cheek! But honestly the book is pretty much the first year course.

so If your studying classics at RHUL,and haven't given your self much revision time (or have missed most of the lectures due to drunkeness etc) definately worth a read! Alternatively If you'd rather avoid three years spent somewhere between drunk, hungover, & the library just buy the book... plus; whats £20.89 compared to £1000'sin debt?!
