If you are doing a post graduate environment course then this is the text book for you. I now don't have to make any notesin lectures because my lecturer simply uses Parks text as his. Many thanks Chris!

This gigantic book could be the perfect answer for students of the environment at any level - from GCSE up to post-graduate. It is THAT useful.

The sheer ease of use of Chris Park's book is it's winning point. For those just wanting the basics, the bare facts are available on all topicsin large boxes, while for those needing some research for their University work, the explainations & theories & more than satisfactory. Throwin some excellent photographs & diagrams & you have a truely complete text.

Whatever the environmental topic, it is almost certain to bein this outstanding text. I highly recommend it.
