In this book of an execptional man one of a kind hero the author Mr Henderson has not even awarded the hero that he made so much money from a single pennyin royalties I think this is an absolute disgrace as if it was not for carlos this man wouldnt have a book to sell
A Blinding Read!! - By: Sirwalter, 09 Mar 2007
Like a kid i assumed that if this guy had at least 93 kills then this was going to be an action packed book...well it was!!!!
Right from the first page your thrownin to the action, the training was so interesting, the action was thrilling, & although he survived, the ending was so sad, i really felt for him
An excellent book - By: Rafal Gruszczynski, 25 Mar 2006
A slow start (didn't like it too much at the very beginning), but with time I became addicted & couldn't put it down. At the end I felt a kind of bond building between me & the hero of the book. An exceptional story about an exceptional man. Highly recommended for all those interestedin war stories & biographies.
Aren't people easily pleased.... - By: , 22 Sep 2004
First thing I found disturbing was the disclaimerin the front - '.........this is a work of fiction.'
Yes, I know it's a true account & all that, but it's written to read like a novel so one can't be entirely certain how much poetic licence had been used. Shame
Read the other reviews by all means, I just thought I'd balance things out a bit. I didn't find it THAT engrossing really. It lacked detailin some areas as wellin terms of how the man actually felt at the time.
