If you already have the old version of this then think carefully about whether you want to buy this version as very little has changed. Yes most of the worksheets are now differentiated to some degree, however, it tends to be the literacy based worksheets & there are very limited ideas for SEN. I did find the CD ROM useful as this meant I could display many of the worksheets on the IWB & discuss them. However, diagrams are still very basically drawn & graphing tool is pretty rubbish (better idea to incorporate this into an ICT lesson anyway)
Was quite disappointed by the lack of fresh thinkingin it & cross curricular links. Also there seems to be very little excitement & WOW effectin the experiements

If you cannot plan science lessons, then this will save your life. This book provides medium & short-term lesson plans which arein line with the NC & DfES SChemes of Work for Science. Assessment opportunities are also provided & refers to a constructive method of teaching sciencein the classroom. Well worth every penny!
