We bought this book for our daughters' 1st birthday last month. This book is ideal especially for this age group where they are learning & recognising animals. There are real photos & also drawings of each animal which helps children to understand. Our daughter had only ever seen a toy duck or drawing so to have a photo has helped her understand. There are also simple explainations of the animals & what they do. I would thouroughly recommend this book to any parent with a child of 6 months plus.
Great book for Babies and Toddlers - By: , 27 Jul 2004 This book is excellent, so much so that I had to buy 3 copies, one to leave at each grandparents house too.
This book introduces children to common animals, & uses full colour photographs rather than illustrations, so the child can equate the picture to real life surroundings. We bought this book on the reccomendation of our speech & language therapist as part of the therapy & it was fantastic, my daughters speech really improved as she recognised the animals.
In my opinion a must for every baby or toddler.
