just because people may have thought that the movie was really stupid doesn't mean that the book can't be GREAT. I would high;y recomend this book to all.

Book Good-Movie Bad - By: , 24 Aug 2000 The movie did not do the book justice. The movie is a ridiculous piece of **** which does notin any way follow the correct storyline. The killer is different & is a character that makes more sensein the book. Not only is his anger justified but you feel his agony & he is not a faceless killer asin the movie. The characters are not shallow or hastily written about as in the movie. It has no stupid or pointless sequels. Do yourself a favor & do not see the movie, read the book.
This is great, just as good as the movie. - By: , 19 Jul 2000 After watching the movie for more than 40 times i thought that this would be pretty dull, but it wasn't. It is GREAT & just as good as the movie. I could not put the book down as it was so good. The only thing that is not so good about it is the ending, which looks to be a bit rushed... 8/10
WOW, Different from the film and in many ways better! - By: farquankhan@yahoo.com, 06 May 2000 MUCH different from the film. Trust me It was published it the Seventies & was basedin the vietnam period. Ray has a beard. Helen works on TV. Oh yeah they are telling the story from a year later.
