Read this book if you want to understand how refined sugars & refined foods destroy one's health. You'll learn more than you want to know about refined sugar, one of the great evils of our society.

Sugar and cocaine are not even remotely similar in structure - By: , 30 Jun 1999
There is no significant similarityin the structure of sucrose (or any other sugar) to the structure of cocaine. It can only be said that they are one molecule different because they are both molecules, & are different. Using that type of argument, the same could be said of water & oil, or O2 & CFCs. The implication is that if you make one tiny little changein sucrose, bang, you have cocaine, but you would need a whole series of enzymes, changing ring structures, adding a N, & removing oxygens, etc. Sugar may be bad, but there is no need to lie about it. Please be certain to check any scientific claims for validity.
