Due to the BBC's policy of junking some of it's shows when it did not have enough room to store them, many of the great Dr. Who stories from the 1960's have been lost forever. Some of these stories redemption have come from the fact that Who fans recorded the soundtrack of the shows from their televisions during the original broadcasts. The Evil Of The Daleks is one of these. A truly great Dalek story, this recording captures all of the tension & fear that Daleks bring. Their mettalic voices still make the hairs on the back of your neck stand up. The linking narration is excellent & breathes life into the story now that no pictures exist. The fact that this can now be heard as an almost made for radio drama is a testament to the makers of this audio book. The best way to listen to this isin the dark with headphones on & then your mind can create for you the atmousphere of a great peice of Dr Who history.
