This is a brilliant book, looking at the farmers who grow & develop various organic produce. It is writtenin a month-to-a-chapter format, with each chapter highlighting a particular sector of the organic industry, IE bakery, dairy, meat etc. It has some excellent tips on growing your own produce & tells you what you should be doingin your garden at each pointin the year. This was very interesting to read & helpfulin increasing my knowledge of organic food & it's benefitin one's diet.

Pat Gallimore's book captures the real essence of the organic movement - people who have made a lifelong commitment to turning the world away from agrichemical destruction & rebuilding a sustainable environment. The insights into the lives, work & conscience of these people is achieved with the lightest touch, interesting'at home' interviews with people who mix business with pleasure & achieve their goals by slowly but surely changing the world through their work & through the shared attitudes of organic customers.
