Working at a pre-school we often have children whose parents have never seen measles, impetigo etc before. Every spot that appears is usually "..oh my God its Meningitis!!!"
This book will help them, & us, identify any spots or redness that appears on their child. This is a great book, with very clear, colour photos of common childhood rashes & a very imformative to all connected with children.
Excellent reference - By: , 27 Jan 2005 I have used this book both as a mother & also as a practice nurse workingin minor illness clinics! It is an excellent source of reference giving exact details of the type of rash-whether contagious or not,how long the incubation period is & also how best to treat the rash. It is colourful throughout showing real photos & is very easy to read & follow. Mums & nurses will be impressed!
Very good valued book for mum or even GP! - By: , 01 Aug 2003 I just came across this bookin my local library 2 mohths go. I found that's very useful book for anybody who have to look after a child.The illustrated pictures are quite clear & they aren't too exaggerated like we might findin the medical textbooks. Have to say that I'm a person who have to workin health care service system,I see many cases of skin problems & most of them are not very serious like we seein medical textbooks which usually present very badly seriously skin problems & it's too rare to seein normal population!, I think.
