an excellent and well-structured work- By: G. Jawad, 21 May 2006 The talent of Nakashin writing about the Shi'as is of no question. It was his first book, The Shia'a of Iraq, that put him among the best who focussed on the Shi'asin general & the Shia' of Iraq specifically. Thoroughly discussing & analyizing the situation of Shia Populationin Post-Saddam Iraq, this book is ocnsidered the best if you want to have an idea about the complexity of the Shia problemin the Middle East. many of the issues discussedin this book have been highlightedin Rend AlRaheem & Frank Fuller's book The Arab Shia's the forgotten Muslims. However; that book was written before the US invasion of Iraq which has dramatically changed the fate of Aranb Shia's not onlyin Iraq but throughout the Arab countries which has been covered completelyin Nakash's book.
