How to be cool.....or not - By: A. Mcmanus, 12 Jun 2008
Not sure why this book is so well accepted, i bought it on the strenghth of the other reviews & was sorely dissapointed. For a start the humour is decidedly not good, simplistic & unoriginal. I can only assume that the title 'How to be cool' is ironic, following extracts like:
...'cool tatoos tend to be things like: celtic patterns peace symbols & chinese dragons'
Is that right!
For me this book is reminisant of an embarasing parent who thinks they know how to be 'cool'
NOT recommended.
Simply Cool - By: Dr. R. Davidson, 15 Nov 2007
Will Smith, is just one of the best British Comedians to come alongin recent years. He does nt orely on puerile comedy but instead uses pure witicim, itellect & great delivery to get his humour across. A case of never mind the bollocks... & this book is just the best. It had me splitting my sides, & caused a lot of raised eyebrows on my recent flight to Mexico City as I read it. Its just simply "cool" but its amazing how funny the simplicity of it is. Will just points out for once & for all everything that we know we should do, but as soon as we have to apply it, we thorw the rule book out & do what we think is cool instead. This book shoudl be compulsory reading for social troglodytes, numpties & general pillocks.
I loved it.
I recommend it.
A terrifically funny book, by a great comedian

Laugh out loud funny - By: A reader, 08 Nov 2007
There aren't many books that make me laugh out loud; this is one of the few. Excellent for dipping brightening a dull day!
Supercool - By: Rollerskates77, 01 Nov 2007
Very funny book about ways you can be cool & catastrophic ways you can't. With some great advice ('Never be first on at a dance or an orgy') & hilarious multiple choice quizzes at the end of each chapter. Laugh-out-loud funny, I might have to get it as a Christmas present for a few of my friends who could probably use the help!
