THE book for women with breast cancer - By: C. A. Scott, 19 Nov 2004
Many books on breast cancer paint a rosy picture & portray how women make a marvelous recovery from breast cancer. This book tells it how it is. It explains everything you could possibly want to know from pre-diagnosis, surgery, chemo, radiation, how you are feeling etc. I bought loads of books on breast cancer & this book is by far the most informative. A fantastic reference book.
Invasive lobular carcinoma - By: , 23 Aug 1999
Dr. Susan Love clearly defines the difference between lobular carcinoma insitu & ductual carcinoma insitu. This helped me make a decision to follow my breast surgeon's recommendation to go to a cancer center for a second opinion when I was diagnosed with invasive lobular carcinomain February, 1997. Only 10% of breast cancers are lobularin nature. The multidisplinary team approach that the cancer center offered me was very similar to the one that Dr. Love describedin her book. This helped me to understand more about my type of breast cancer & to make an informed decision as to type of treatment. I thank Dr. Love for being courageous enough to come out & encourage women to be active participantsin decisions madein regard to their health.
A fascinating book! - By: , 24 Apr 1999
I have been diagnosed with precancer & have found this book to be a God-send. It's the only book I've found on the market that goes into detail about pre-malignancy. Dr. Love is very straight-forwardin her advice & criticisms of the medical profession. If you need a second or third opinion, this book will clear your doubts. Most doctors don't know how to communicate to their patients & assume you know what they're talking about. Ever try reading a pathological report of a breast biopsy? This book will answer all your questions. Congratulations, Dr. Love, you've contributed so much to clearing up a medical problem which, unfortunately, the establishment has taken advantage of.

Dr. Susan Love has done a great servicein writing & publishing this complete & easy to understand book. Thank-You Dr. Love
