Final Fantasy Tactics is one of those rare games that can easily offer 100+ hours of gameplay. You get stats coming out of your ears. And not unsurprisingly the official strategy guide reflects this. There's over 200 pages crammed full of... well, stats! Everything is covered; towns, races, jobs, trials, equipment & the all important missions (over 300in total).

The only downside to all this complexity is that, for beginners, the game can be daunting & difficult to get into. Unfortunately the guide doesn't helpin this respect. There is an introduction of sorts on page 43 but it doesn't tell you any more than the instructions that come with the game. I guess the idea is that you experiment & learn as you go along.

So if you're new to the Final Fantasy universe or to Tactics gamesin general & want a beginners guide then look elsewhere. But if you're already into the game & stuck on a mission, or just want to get more from it, then this strategy guide is the ideal companion.
