I give to cancer - By: S. Forde, 31 Mar 2008
Just bought a copy at a charity shop for people with cancer.
It better be good or I'm gonna ask for my money back.
Bugger them & their rogue cells.
I want funny.
It was better on the telly - By: Mr. Stuart Bruce, 19 May 2007
"As seen on TV", like it says on the cover. This is a bit not right as the TV show has voices & has movement. This is a book, all the pictures stand still & you can't hear it doing anything other than making papery noises.

Mainly for those reasons, the book is not as good as the TV show. The book is pretty short (maybe equivalent to 1 or 2 episodes on TV) & one of the best things about "Modern Toss" on TV is the deadpan delivery of the violent dialogue.

Here's an example of one page: "It started off as a collection of old drinks & now it's the UK's premier wasp nightspot...". Read that. Did you laugh? Buy this book. Confused? Don't buy this book.

A bit too short for the price & it was better on TV.

Definitely not suitably for kids.
Yes! - By: Madly Bobbington-Blythe, 24 Nov 2006
More of the same, this time from the chaps behind the eponymous TV series. Starring Mr Tourettes, master sign painter, & the interminably disagreeable Alan, Modern Toss serves up a pointedly unpleasant & yet worryingly intriguing dish of profanity, violence & the odd Hitler joke, all tastelessly illustrated & with comically mundane titles on each page. This is NOT for children, unless they're over 18.
So wrong it's right - By: Reeta, 25 Sep 2006
I've made some mistakes giving it as a present though. It's not for everyone & sometimes it's hard to predict who will like it. Still, if they turn their noses up just take it back & keep it yourself.
Funniest Book i've seen for a while - By: Lucy, 16 May 2006
Me & my family were actually crying with laughter whilst reading this book. It's bizarre & rather rude but has that random yet hilarious humour us Brits know & love.
