Very good for beginners - By: Mr. Dl Simcoe, 23 Aug 2010
Very good book, & easy to follow. I am a returning beginner to guitar. And this book helps to refresh & the touch of humour throughout is much appreciated. It is taking me a while to get back into things but, by my own admition it takes me a bit to get into learning music. I would recommend this book to anyone wanting to try their hand at guitar & needs some encouragement.
I'm obviously a dummy - By: Mesir, 17 Aug 2010
I was completely inexperienced at playing the guitar & this book seems to cover everything I need (and will need). It's simple to follow & even the asides written by the authors don't seem to grate as much as I was expecting. It does get a little dull playing the same chords over & over & over but as you need to practice to get any good at anything it's probably more annoying for othersin your household. I truly hadn't expected as much physical pain but that isn't the book's fault.
For a novice this book is fantastic.
Easy to learn, great book! - By: Flower, 17 Aug 2010
I'm teaching myself the guitar & this book is so helpful & easy to read. Tells you how to play all the chords, how to care for your guitar, lots of very useful infoin an informative & entertaining way. Thought i'd get annoyed at the 'funny' bits but they're cute. Best bit is the chord chart at the back though, very handy!
A must buy for any beginner - By: Daniel, 08 Aug 2010
Am very happy with the book & the DVD.
I use the book more but I also use the DVD as a step by step guide & it's nice to play along with some one.
I advise purchasing both.
