I am a Clinical Teacher for Junior Doctors & Medical Students. This book transformed my teaching. Learning goes onin the heads of the learner. The teacher just has to ask the right questions, create legitimate time for thinking, & allow the students to learn to think. Doctors need to be the highest level thinkersin the team - this book helps to be a far better, more relaxed teacher.

Too many teachers tell them what to think instead of getting them to think for themselves, & this book is packed with information & practical advice. I'd thoroughly recommend it.
hummm....who'd want to teach kids? - By: Mr. M. R. Kalhoro, 27 Sep 2004 being only an nqt i found this book essential! especially with the class that i've got! this books gives you ideas on how to get their attention & keep it! depending upon your class, you will have to chop & change a few things & figure some stuff out for yourself! allin all though, its superb & i recommend you to read this! Even if you're not a teacher!
