As usual with Osprey standards, it's a very valuable book, plenty of contemporary pictures that give the "real" look, & with very clear & detailed colour illustrations showing (unfortunatly, not all) a good selection of uniforms & weapons carried by the actual combatants.
For history's buffs & wargames alike, long Orders of Battle that may look a little bit puzzling or boring for non specialised readers, but a must for any with deep interest on a long forgotten war. A short resume about the "police action" (as some politians call the war at the time)may leave you looking for more info, but, allin all, it's a well balanced book, more focused on military hostory & uniform/tactics knowledge than just history with capital H. A good aproach to the conflict than bring world almostin WW III.
