This is a stunningly attractive book that is well illustrated & entertainingly written. Unfortunately the text is somewhat vacuous, providing littlein the way of insight into what really made these women tick. Frustrating that Guggenheim especially gets such short shrift. Glad that I am about to finally do the ultimate Phd on her!
