Great revision book for FRCS(Tr.&Orth.) - By: Mr A. Kocheta, 28 Aug 2003
This text is excellent for revisionin the 6 months prior to the intercollegiate fellowship exam. It is necessary to have read other fuller texts first but for final cramming & quick reference for memory joggers it can't be beaten.
One word of warning however: there are a number of errorsin the text which I found useful prior to the exam. The better I knew the material, the more errors I found!
Despite this, the book is invaluable.

contains just about everything needed for the exams. well updated. some of the legends of the figures & the diagrams need extra labelling.
never met a comprehensive book on orthopaedics like this! - By: , 03 Jul 1999
After so many years spent studying orthopaedics & leafing thru books of all sorts,it's the first time I come across a book I eventually feel I can tell my young trainees they MUST have a copy of. I am looking forward to see the latest edition. Since I am a translator, I would like to have this book translated into my language so as everyonein Italy interested can have it.
"THEorthopaedic review text" - By: , 06 Apr 1999
I found this book to be a concise review of the main testable areasin orthopedics. It was up to date, comprehensive for a review text, & doesn't get lostin the untestable details we have to listen to on rounds. I think it helped me pass my written boards. This is THE Orthopaedic review test to stay prepared.
A comprehensive summary of most orthopaedic topics. - By: , 20 Feb 1999
A very good review handbook. However, it is not very suitable for fresh readers who do not have basic knowledge of the concerned topics. Excellent for revision before examination to check if there is any "hollows".
