Based on the hit TV series, the Digimon manga follows exactly the same storyline-and it's just as much fun!
Basic plot; 7 kids at summercamp are summoned by an unknown force to the Digital World, where they each meet their own Digimon (digital monster) partner.
Since finding their way back to Tokyo seems out of the question, the kids-Tai, Matt, TK, Sora, Joe, Izzy & Mimi- all agree to help save the Digital World from the control of the Black Gears-nasty pieces of machinery that uses the powers of darkness to turn a Digimon evil.
The artwork is nice, & the humour is good, but you can't help but feel that the ORIGINAL Digimon manga series would have been better, istead of just a TV show spin-off.
